About my top-candidate™ database
I am a technical recruiter serving the Los Angeles, California area. As a prominent recruiter, I receive a torrent of resumes from candidates seeking opportunities in the region. About one-fourth of those resumes represent truly elite candidates. Regrettably, I don’t have as many opportunities as I do great candidates! Yet, I do believe that the common practice of receiving and archiving resumes is counterproductive for both the candidates who reach out to me and the businesses that need them.
Consequently, I am the first recruiter ever to put their personal resume database online and make it fully accessible and searchable by hiring managers and recruiters. Now, every good resume I receive is shared through my top-candidate™ database. By sharing, I am maximizing the value of my database for everybody.
About this website
This website features my actual resume database. In other words, as an active recruiter, this database is where I save all of the quality resumes I receive and is the first place I look when working on searches of my own. Until now, this database was for my private use only.
I originally put my top-candidate™ database for personal use simply to take advantage of web application technology which I feel is superior to any software I can install on my PC. By doing so, I was able to achieve fully integrated functionality including resume parsing and formatting, boolean query searching, create e-mail templates, perform mass mailing, gain access to my data from anywhere as well as numerous other features.
Recently, I have decided to share my top-candidate™ database with verifiable hiring managers and recruiters. There are two key reasons for my decision. First, the number of quality resumes I receive far exceeds the number of opportunities I personally have available with my own clients. I felt that I could be of better service to the candidates who reach out to me by getting their resumes as much exposure as possible instead of just archiving them on my PC. Second, I am certain that sharing my database with hiring managers and recruiters gives me a better chance of capitalizing on my resumes than keeping them privately archived on my PC. At the same time, I can offer significant savings to hiring managers and recruiters who hire or place candidates found in my database while simultaneously building my professional network.
Ultimately, sharing my top-candidate™ database is a win-win for everybody benefiting candidates, hiring managers and recruiters alike.
