Clinical Informatics Analyst
Clinical analyst for most Meditech applications with strong experience with Radiology and ITS modules. Worked with both C/S and Magic platforms. Just performed a go-live with adding the ITS module. Clinical Applications Analyst
Included in my duties I viewed, monitored, and at times changed the parameters of background jobs (bkg.) and all midnight runs, also making sure that the Databases were defined. I worked with Order Entry (OE) for results and tests in both test and live rings; analyzed and resolved printer problems in conjunction with ITS. I also monitored and performed system administration on data being converted from Magic (RAD) to C/S ITS during history conversion to capture patient information. I was the lead person in the administration of OE, LAB, ITS, PHA, and Doctors List modules. I was trained at Meditech (Boston) in PCS (Dictionary/Applications) and have worked with nurses and physicians using the NUR, and EMR modules. I have limited experience with NPR writing, but would like to become more proficient. I have a strong background in clinical laboratories, I work well with lab personnel and am very familiar with lab analyzers and the setting up of instrument parameters and configuration. I have worked with glucometers, Vitros, ECI, etc. I administrated lab device watches in all phases of the clinical lab.I was Project Manager for OSAL and HL7 Interfaces for ABG instruments being installed (Rapidlink Scripting Interface Installation). As Project Manager I have an excellent working relationship with vendors such as J.J.
