EXPERIENCE

Disney Internet Group, 2007–Present

• Responsible for Development, and Maintenance of Tea templates, CSS, JavaScript and HTML for SOAPnet.com, ABC Daytime sites; “All My Children”, “General Hospital”, “One Life To Live”, and “the View”.
• Built video page for “the View” leveraging existing API. Categories and play lists created in Go Publish CMS are represented in a dynamic navigation. Selected play lists are loaded into a thumbnail “carousel” (prototype/scriptaculous).
• Implemented Omniture reporting system for each ABC daytime sites, while removing existing HBX code.
• Built dedicated video page for “SOAPnet.com” incorporating prototype event listeners to load a tab based navigation system asynchronously (Ajax/prototype).
• Replaced static XML delivery, with dynamic XML generated using Tea templates, and Go Publish CMS.

Movielink.com, 2004–2007

• Ported existing ATG Dynamo site (.jhtml) to JSP (1.2), Including Web Commerce Application (WCA), A VOD/download destination web site, and a “WebTV” version targeted for Windows Media Center (MCE).
• Re-factored functionality previously implemented as "Dynamo Droplets", using JSTL and custom tags throughout the e-commerce site (WCA), Content Management System (CMS), and, Customer Service Application.
• Implemented HBX reporting system throughout each system.
• Re-factored movie/metadata handoff (XML and AJAX).
• Responsible for Development, and Maintenance of JSP, JSTL, XML, CSS, JavaScript and HTML.

Gattuso Distributing, 2004

• Built fully dynamic, on-line catalog (PHP/JavaScript) to display product photos and information.
• Administration section allows employees to create and edit categories, add products, edit products, upload photos, automatically duplicate and resize uploaded photos to thumbnail size, change site graphics.
• All site text, text effects, Paragraphs, Headers, captions, etc. can be edited in the admin. section.
• All navigation menus are dynamically created, to reflect category, and product inventory.

BROOKS & WINFIELD, 2003 - 2004

• Designed art and layout for web site, using Photoshop 7.
• Hand coded all html and JavaScript.
• Built “Customer Status Section” to display custom tailored progress reports (PHP) – includes dynamic file creation and various file I/O functions.

FIRSTLOOK.COM, 2000–2002

• Ported existing Cold Fusion site to JSP. Including dynamic integration of streaming video with 9 Tera Bytes of data.
• Wrote HTML, JSP, and JavaScript, for “Front-End” of streaming media “destination” site.
• Prototyped and implemented “Co-branded” delivery of Firstlook data and previews through custom video “players” (JSP/Servlets), delivering targeted ads, photos, and links along with the video stream.
• Expanded “Affiliate” (Remote Delivery) Offerings to include Movies, Games, and TV Streaming Media previews (both CFML and JSP versions)
• Created system for remote delivery of dynamic multimedia “affiliate charts” which launched “co branded” pop up video players, with context sensitive Meta data (photos, links, reviews, liner notes, etc.
• Created “Affiliate Extranet” A dynamic interface for customers to manage accounts, configure video players and retrieve personalized dynamic code. (Both CFML and JSP versions)

Steven · Gilbert · Morris, 1998-1999

• Designed and built company website and databases.
• Built corporate scale web site, with full database integration, (CFML) and internal ad banner system, including full tracking, and billing by customer and category (CFML & JAVA Applets).
• Created warehouse of contacts, resources, and resumes for movie professionals.
• Built “extranet” for member access/editing of personal data, browsing of all public data.
• Message board, with full search by subject, member, thread, date, etc.
• All Member Photos displayed through configurable Java applets for various effects.

HOLLYWOODOS, 1997–1998

• Created a Database integrated member site using, using Cold Fusion, ASP, and JavaScript.

• Live chat room for members (ASP).
• Member access to printable templates for photo, post cards, labels, and photo sheets with personal data, custom graphics, and member photos.

• Built Client-Server network from “salvaged” PCs, (all discarded machines, none were bootable)
• Set up file & web server (Windows 2000 Server) to serve tutorials in Windows, Office, Photoshop, and PC Hardware, Along with a custom database integrated web site, where students can login to take tests, and have them scored and saved. The students can study the current or past topics, browse photos of previous classes, view video of themselves or the tutorials, all from the web interface. All functionality was coded in JavaScript to allow for an easy port to a “stand-alone” CD format.
