One2one sessions

Top Candidate offers face-to-face 1 ½ hour interview skills sessions to job seekers looking for jobs at tactical and operational levels. These sessions are designed for people with existing skills who may have some experience of an interview setting and who may either suffer with nerves before an interview or find it difficult to get their points across in an interview setting. Each session will cover the following:

What is an interview panel and what do they expect from you; Identifying your individual challenging areas; Selling your strengths; Acknowledging your weaknesses; Understanding the interview question; Structuring your answers; Revisiting challenging areas to ensure confidence in approach; Summary and agreement of further sessions if necessary.

Fee: £45 per session (subsequent sessions £30).

Groups

Further to the face-to-face consultations Top Candidate offers a ½ day group training session on how to sell oneself in an interview setting. These sessions are aimed at college/school leavers who are new to interviews or at groups of employees who are facing redundancy or restructure from their current employer and who may not be familiar with current interview practises. These sessions will cover the following:

What is an interview panel and what do they expect from you; Selling your strengths; Acknowledging your weaknesses; Understanding the interview question; Structuring your answers; Basic do’s and don’ts in an interview setting.

A maximum of 8 attendees is recommended.

Fee: £180.
